Tourist Information

The Flathead Valley offers a multitude of recreational activities. Fly fishing has become a dominant tourist draw with the Flathead River’s three forks, the North Fork, Middle Fork and South Fork combining into the main Flathead River. Fishing on these rivers can produce West-slope Cutthroat trout, Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout and Whitefish.

The Crown of the Continent, Glacier National Park draws tourists from all over the world. With beauty not offered by any other national park, hiking Glacier Park can be awe inspiring.  And with over 600 miles of trails, it is unlikely you would ever run out of places to hike or things to see.

The largest natural lake west of the Mississippi, Flathead Lake also offers great fishing and boating.

The Flathead Valley has become a regional shopping area for those who need a break from world class fishing, hiking, boating and recreating.
